  Great song and dance numbers, but the PG rated fairytale like story is kinda weird seeing as it's a very grown up setting.

  I wanted to love this film so much.I was excited. I wanted it for them so bad. Unfortunately it's just an extended "apple pie" music video. Dumbed down not to offend the American audience. There's no one you love, no one you hate, everyone is really nice ... and apologetic and it's just "there". There's no question that Christina looks great on screen and is beautiful to look at and listen too ... but it just doesn't stand up to the likes of Moulin Rouge with Nicole Kidman or Chicago with Catherine Zeta-Jones. And when they throw in a number from Cher - you're sitting there saying "what?" ... I guess it was in her contract. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is one for Cher and one for

  Superb and totally awesome movie/musical. A must see for everyone (guys too). Cher and Christina were fantastic! Burlesque 2?

  if you are a fan of cher or christina you will enjoy this movie, lots of christina singing, I was a little disappointed that cher only sang twice and it would have been great if they did a debut, but still lots of singing and dancing to enjoy

  Loved both the acting and the music. The dance numbers were great too.
